Year 2 Sem1 is over

just came back from PS. afterall, it's the last paper. so group A and group B people decided to meet.
background info: MSE divided its cohort into two groups from year2 - A and B to take a set of subjects A and B respectively. but of course it's entirely up to you to choose which you want to be in at the beginning of year2. so, this group of uni friends i'm hanging out with since year1 was split into two groups thus. i'm in group B by the way.
after the paper at 4.30pm, group B wanted to go find group A, but group A was still K-ing in chinatown - the 10 dollar shop. maybe next time i can bring sc11 there... since it's considerably cheaper and Fred said k box ain't that good(haha but that's just because he works there mah), we can go test-test other places. so, being the pig jan and Avril who kept telling each other just how hungry they were, they psycho-ed all the others to eat without group A. evil? heh heh
after exam sure hungry mah. so we happily went to PS in search for our food... ended up eating Cafe Cartel. I've nothing against it lah, but i don't understand why the style is like that. it just seemed the place was overly crowded with all the waiter/waitress/managers/whatever walking around trying to cut loaves of bread(which is supposed to be free-flowing). it's quite unsightly since they really had no skill in cutting the bread which we ate half-heartedly though it tasted well with the butter.
i must say that they waiter who served our table was a bit of a weirdo. SH was trying to be nice by self-helping ourselves to the bread, lol. but that doesn't mean he could question if it was our first time there. hello?! we are the customers leh... how could you say that? how rude. then he went on to blabber about how we should place our orders by writing down the code of the dish on the order form provided, all the time asking if we knew how to do so. arrr! of course, we stupid meh. yar, so we wrote down the codes and gave him the form. and guess what? he argued that if we weren't ordering complete sets with soup and drink, we need to write in another column, well just re-write the whole damn thing onto the right column then. did he have to reprimand us like we made a grave mistake. Yikling kept saying she can't stand his voice because of his broken english. i don't know if it's the disdaunted expressions on our faces, but the waiter eventually soften up and asked how was the food at the end, haha... funny. i take it that it's generation gap because he seemed kinda old, perhaps 40.
over dinner, Wei Qiang iniated a topic of discussion: guys look at girls is normal, but even girls look at other girls. ha, i sure like the marvellous remark Yikling gave him, "coz girls only look at good things". whee!
we finished at about 7pm, but group B people just ended their K session. so we walked around PS while waiting for them to reach PS, looking for something suitable or at least a suitable style of evening dress which SH needs for her bf's sis's wedding. found nothing because she's so picky. then we walked and walked until i don't know how we got ourselves dragged into taking neoprint by SH. but it's a good thing because i think i never take picture of any sort with them before, so now at least there's something as keepsake. it was fun fun and fun with Wei Qiang and Chris who kept making us laugh with their "i'm so gay", "oh no, that's gay", "walao, gay leh" whenever they changed a pose or a facial expression. Chris even specially asked not to be given the one which he labelled as 'gay'. that's a sad part though, blur jan thought she was using the eraser to remove some wrongly written thing on the pic which shows a ghostly background fitted nicely with the 6 of us, but she was using the pen itself and TIME's UP! oh god, you should have seen everyone's faces, they were all stunned and laughing like mad. and who should know, jan is still smart, she only drew on her own face, so the other faces are intact. LOL. i'm sure we will remember this incident for a long time...
then we met group A at open-area mac and we chatted for an hour or so. chatted and laughed and chatted and laughed until throat dry and mouth also sore ah... which was why i was already sleepy and exhausted by the time we were going home. their next plan is to watch Happy Feet on tuesday at orchard. but i think i'll not be going because i wanna save my going-outs for other friends : ) anybody wanna ask me out? anyway, i will join them if they are planning an outing for SH's birthday ba. this means JJ's birthday is also coming which means christmas is coming and a year is ending.. time to think about resolutions. hmmm... ok i'll start thinking.
