Just came back after meeting with bp gang for dinner. Tonight really pure eating leh. We had dinner at the koshiboya hangul or something for a start. Then we went to Food Junction cos ~~some~~ all of us were not full but we were dismayed cos the choices of food really suck. Where's the carrot cake yam cake char kuay tiao stall, the ban mian stall, the curry chicken stall, the beef noodles stall, I don't even remember seeing the yong tau foo stall lah.

So we decided to go to its competitor Food Culture to try luck. Ok there's carrot cake but finished selling liao so we ordered char kuay tiao which tasted weird cos hahal? I think so lor... like food from Banquet also got a funny taste one. And we had those desserts like those ice kachang type one... ok it's really ages since I've eaten that kinda (traditional) desserts lor. But I prefer pulut hitam and the likes, and I remember I used to eat with gera desserts at the ol' Food Junction during sec sch days after school haha.

So we chatted lor... about travelling. Seems Kangtai wanna go backpacking in Taiwan but Yixian just went there in May. Bong and I suggested maybe Vietnam or Cambodia for backpacking... I like this idea a lot. Everyone has different reasons for travelling; some more sightseeing, some for shopping while others go for the food. I wanna experience a little of the lives other people have and more importantly to feel the culture, I don't wanna just go and come back in a short span. Which is why going to Korea to live is one of my goals to achieve. But before this, I guess I need to go master the language first.

We sat till the place gotta close and we decided to go the 24 hrs coffeeshop behind bus interchange for last round. We ate tou huay, chee chong fun and zwee kuay. Seriously I don't know how to hanyu pinyin the words lah... Super full by the time we finished. But very much accomplished. And guess what!? We saw Vincent Lee dabaoing food. Geez, so familiar yet so awkward to talk to him... like hmm no topics like that. But can really feel that he has learned how to relax as compared to when he was younger. Well, I don't have anything else to say cos I don't wanna think haha.

Ok and after that we settled the next gathering lor, so as to keep the rule of meeting at least once a month, but more if possible. Badminton two tuesdays from now and something else on friday 25 sep.
