so now i'm back. it's about 2 weeks to a whole new academic year. not only that, it's gonna be my 4th year at the school. uh... i'm not gonna start getting nostalgic la haha. can only say if i'm ever gonna start putting some effort into my work, there's no better time than now. cos i've really got to give my gpa a small booster, so i won't have to be sorry.
i know i'm supposed to upload some pics... but unfortunately i haven't seen my o' camera for as long as i can remember. cos father took it with him and it's been with him. so nvm, i shall just try to update on my last 40 days or so... and upload the pics whichever i have when i have the camera.

cousin alan's wedding. ok, it was his second marriage la. i remembered he married in 2000 and heard that he divorced (include separation) for 2,3 years liao. no wonder everytime cny also dun see his ex-wifey one lor... but cannot blame la, his ex quite snobbish one. see people also didn't greet and very dao one, everytime abroad also. too career-minded liao so of cos r/s will turn sour la. because so many years also didn't have intention of having kids. the elders won't happy one. but his current wife quite demure leh... the girl-next-door kinda quality, even though she's 30. and alan is 35. oh yar, she's his secretary btw haha... but this doesn't mean they were having an affair before he divorced la. or rather, there are always many sides to a story.

10 - 15 June
spent the entire week at home. tidied the room, tables, wardrobe and washed the swivel chair, wiped the windows, changed the bedsheets and basically get rid of all the cobwebs and stuffs. that was certainly a lot of work because i haven't touched exactly sat at my study desk and didn't bother to dust my dressing table while at IA. so to prepare for special sem, to get into the mood of school... gotta do sth lor. and i was happy when i came upon the precious moments jigsaw puzzle gera gave me which i had framed up and the one sc11 guys gave me for my 21st bday. now i'm just waiting for the chance to revamp my room and hang them both up.
17 June
met the bp gang to celebrate bong's birthday in advance. well, not quite a celebration cos it was a week early and there was no cake, no present prepared and no birthday song.
just cos it was hard to fix a common agreeable date. but at least all of us turned up that day... and after a quick lunch at Cineleisure's BBQ Chicken Korean's No.1 Chicken Restaurant. i kinda liked what i ordered leh.. too bad kangtai didn't upload the pic of my charboiled sandwich. qiaofen had the charboiled chicken chop which was smaller in portion cos i had the 2 pieces of bun but hers was $2 pricier. haha...
after lunch, accompanied bong to shop around for his present lor. he got a lovely grey top at zara.. i kinda liked the mens cut tee shirts at zara compared to the females. but ming gang and qiaofen kept nagging at me to stop checking on the mens tee. ugh.

yixian's not in the pic cos she was still in school that time for her special sem. so the rest of us continued to shop shop shop... while kangtai went off to catch The Happening with his friends. we walked all the way from Cineleisure to Far East and all the way back to Cineleisure at dinner time. but we didn't have dinner... yixian came along and we went to K! haha...
and after the singing session, kangtai came back to join us on the trip back home lor. and we took a group photo... my face looked kinda swollen in the pic.

all of us took 190. and there was lots of laughter along the way... forgot to wish bong happy birthday. haha... cos it wasn't that day mah. but nonetheless we enjoyed a short gathering ba.

after elective lect, went for a short briefing by Dr Gan on the preparations for fyp. nth to update except... i couldn't start my fyp earlier because my graduate (lab) mentor had injured his fingers while handling some quartz tube. he couldn't even reply email so wait lor...
24 June
went Ikea + Queensway shopping centre + Anchorpoint with dear. actually was my intention to check out some affordable furniture and maybe design ideas. but maybe the intention was simply to take a look so nth was achieved... however we had a full lunch at the Ikea cafe. and we headed to Bugis after that to shop... but didn't buy anything cos the mood wasn't right. maybe cos it was a weekday so sian sian de.
25 June
fu came to school in the afternoon after my lect. we had lunch with JX then went for the EndNote workshop i signed us up for. it's gonna be useful for us in writing reports lor... i will need it for my fyp and fu can start using it from year two. of cos the main thing was i needed someone to accompany me to the workshop that's why. and he didn't mind. thanks dear.

the CA exam for the elective was done today. i got 45/50 leh... very happy. because i wouldn't need to worry whether to SU or not. i'm gonna try to get at least average for the final exam and hopefully that would help me acquire a good enough grade to boost my gpa.
met sc11 today at Westmall. erm, the initial plan was to watch Hancock. but somehow we didn't. of cos i had a part to play in that la... but i've also cancelled my tuition at the last minute just so we could hang out a bit longer. well, i wouldn't have done that if 儿子 didn't cancel his tuition. bah. but then the last time they met i missed the outing cos of my diahorrea. forgot when was that liao la.
so we stayed inside the Westmall food court playing cards and oli came to distribute her Shanghai souvenirs. then we played pool and picture hunt on the arcade machine at JEC. dinner at the kopitian food court and i went home while they continued to lan.
5 July
didn't join bp gang to celebrate MG's birthday and couldn't make it a full strength gathering even though TY was here from K.L. cos i was down with flu. after the day out with sc11, got runny nose and was nuahing the next few days at home cos of the medicine... i weak or wat? but that time was perhaps on the verge of falling sick anyway that's why.
12 July
went Queensway shopping centre with dear again. this time he was bent on buying a suitable shirt for the insinyur camp's SP NITE. the theme's hawaiian. heard from fu that JX's part of the theme and he only found one okay shirt after a day's shopping at Bugis. haha... so anyway fu bought a blue flower patternsy shirt, the body hugging kind. er... it's not too bad. but i was tired after going all the way there to shop with him so i didn't quite remember how it look now.
