Went to see doctor today and she said I've got throat infection. The inflammation must be due to the nonstop talking during shift over the last weekend that caused my throat dryness over the following few days which then led to cough and runny nose.

So using the co-pay scheme I only had to pay $3.50 which is of cos a good reason I should see the doc and not wait till it gets worse. Normally it's either the illness is not that serious to require immediate medical attention or I prefer to wait or go to the polyclinic. So with this scheme, it saves me a lot of waiting/suffering time and $$.

It's good that I've gotten MC for tomorrow. Cos it means more resting time, hopefully can go en route to recovery asap. Also, it means that can spend more time with family. Joseph is flying on monday night to Taiwan for about 3 weeks... part of NS.

Want to ask him get things for me but I don't know what exactly I want haha so well, maybe give him some cash ask him to take his pick lor. I don't want food though, just give me masks or other beauty stuffs ^^

Anyway dear was here with me from the afternoon till he left half an hour ago... Really appreciate him coming to tutor Marcus and accompanying me.

Oh, and it's Marcus' 15th birthday today... wish him be healthy and do well in his studies.

Met sc11 for March babies bday gathering last night.

The simple cards I made for Xiuling and Jingxi. Well, I only did them yeaterday afternoon, after coming home from meeting the finanical advisor Jingxi referred to me. Luckily I had enough time and the designs were easy and similar so no time wasted.

Right, this entry is on my tutee's birthday. She's celebrating her 14th birthday tomorrow. Gosh, 14 years old? Aw man... that's so 9 years ago. Sigh~ and I remember gera gave me a little card that says something like "You're 13 Oops, 14!" Something like that. I know I still kept it, it's just somewhere among my stuffs.

I'm so glad I still have the little memories, no matter good or bad to accompany me. Anyway at this age, I practially don't remember any of the bad ones already. Lol, sign of some self-delusion? Nah, should always think of good things mah... so they kinda drive me to lead my everyday life. Just like how the growing little attachments with some of the kids keep Ms Lim and I going at the centre.

Haha, being the cheapskate me who's so not shopping around =p Decided to handmake. Must be cos I just did one now long ago for gera lah. I don't have any pic, maybe should get gera snap one and send me. Ok, so I used whatever useful or recyclable thingies among my box file of craft papers and stuffs to make a card. I did the esay way out of gluing some wrapping paper over an unwanted foolscap cardboard cut into the size I wanted. Then pasting a smaller piece of black construction paper so I can write with those milky/silvery pens.

Geez, I went Daiso on monday right. Was I really glad I found something I thought quite "suitable". Lol, ok cheapskate again cos it's $2 each but serves the purpose mah and I don't have to go around looking lor. Cos I have no idea what a 14-year old (doesn't matter girl or boy) wants, and I don't remember a thing of what I wanted at that age either.

I got a 108-piece puzzle of a hamster and a frame to go with it. I pieced the puzzle together to see how it'll look after I got home haha, very bad hor. Anyway I decided to get it cos ok, I thought the pic on the packaging is cute and cos I would have gotten it for myself even if I'm not getting it for her haha...

But the deciding factor was that she owns hamsters too :) Giving it to her during tuition tonight.

Last friday went tuition after work at centre. Was still very healthy and well, almost 10pm then reached home also not tired ah. Slept at midnight bah... but saturday morning wake up runny nose and kept sneezing. Was damn irritated with Marcus over his overdue work and attitude. Wasted time nagging and scolding him and thus I was late in preparing to go out to meet sc11.

Fu also stepped on my toes when he didn't tell me he was ready while I was still about to get changed to go out! He would usually sms me but not that day. How can the both of us prepare at the same time, what about my travelling time from cck? So he was at City Hall while I was still at home. Yah, so I threw temper.

Why City Hall; cos I wanted to go Stamford House to visit the new freebie concept store to redeem my freebies. But forget it la so late already... so I told him to meet at Chinatown lor. And not I really want to say la, but he didn't even have his lunch before coming out! Yes, although if he waited for his parents to buy back it would be 2+pm but so he should go eat first right and not like tell me he reached already, where was I? So of cos I threw temper la.

Didn't know if it was the morning runny nose or the hormones surge from the pills... I was damn irritated. Reached Ten Dollars KTV also sian sian one. Plus I was cold and sleepy at the same time so bo bian. After ktv, went Chinatown market and everything was on Jingxi's treat cos he said he just got his first pay. Great dinner with so many food lor... got zi char, got xiao long bao, got yam cake, got popiah, got bbq stingray etc.

After that went Chinatown Point mac sdntc... really nothing to play until play forfeit games like foc games like that. Laugh a lot, laugh till cry, laugh till stomach pain, laugh till cough. Super lame one lah... plus disgusting lor.

Both Fu and I kena dare lor... he had to be tomato-kissed by Collin and I had to tomato-kissed Fred. And as usual, went back late late reached home at about 11.30pm lor. Next gathering: 16 August 2009 to take outdoor photos with the three new grads.

Sunday spent the day at home doing my favourite activity - nuah. For dinner, daddy treated us to Sakura international buffet, the Clementi Woods Park branch. It was supposedly a celebration for my graduation. Thanks to my family for the once-in-a-lifetime kinda dinner, we spent 3 hours there lor! We ate alot alot of food; I love the salmon sashimi, the grilled chicken, the little little square pieces of cakes etc. 5 pax total bill $144.45.

Eaten until super full and came back decided to walk up the 11 stories of stairs home hahaha. Yesterday woke up was ok ah... but went centre feeling tired and sleepy. No runny nose liao, but slight cough already. Not good lor. Miss Lim said I black face one... really ar? I also didn't know la, but I just feel tired lor. Supposed to have tuition last night but I cancelled it last minute so I could go home rest and also because Mrs Chiam and Mou laoshi left when their husbands came to pick them up at 7pm. So I was left behind with some girls, but Mr Tan was around cos he had tuition nearby.

I've finished the pills last night. So it's just left with waiting for the menses to come. This reminds me that Xiuling mentioned she will be going to get the cervical cancer immunisation sometime soon. Ok, shall surf on this another time. Now a bit sleepy, maybe is the medicine I just took. Slept early at 10+pm last night and woke at 8+am this morning. Ok ah... 10 hours of sleep leh but like not enough one lor. Still felt tired and the cough has worsen already lah. Don't know how also... today will still go centre then decide bah. Meeting Miss Lim around 12.30 - 1pm later.

Before and after sushi-making. Victory: three boxes full of sushi :)

Omelette, nicely done. Compare the difference in sizes, the thicker one was the first try, the one beside it ain't nice enough, was the second try.

Chef in action: see me roll the sushi. The blue thing on my head is my velcro hair pad, prevents hair from straying off to my face and leaves no ugly marks :)

The watch both dear and I got for ourselves. On the right pic, I was holding our lunchbox and you can spot me wearing it.

HUH?... Dear was tanned (cos of the freshies' camp), while I looked kinda dreamy... I do like the second photo.

I think he was trying to force a smile.. kinda hard for him. In the fourth pic, can see that I'm fairer than him by at least two shades.

The purchase cards for our ordering; Marche-style in Japanese. The fine for lost card is $100!! Char Siew ramen, $8.80. Soup not nice, char siew meat and the egg were unique though.

Yakitori & pork belly sticks, $2.80 each. What a bomb! The assorted teppanyaki vegetables (small) was delicious leh, $4.50. The one on the right, it's some omelette with ham and cheese, $5.80. Nice but the more you eat, the more it tasted like takoyaki... Bleah.

Takoyaki, $3.80 for 4. Frankly, it's not worth the money =s and we concluded that the omelette and takoyaki used the same japanese sauce and japanese mayo that's why tasted similar. I would say try the omelette, give the takoyaki a go. Dessert: waffle + cookies & cream, $5.80. Thought I just had it on friday... haha ya lor. Like that then can compare mah. Ok, it's definitely worth the price, considering Gelare's single scoop with waffle costs around $10.70. The ice cream melted faster than Gelare's and also smaller in portion. But it had a kind of homemade flavour to it. Not bad actually. For two persons, ya we had to stuff ourselves cos the waffle was kinda big for us.

Same style... same watch :)

Anyway total damage: $40.35 inclusive of 17% gst and svc charge.

Ah Meng's 23rd birthday

Just taken my bath... Came home from Causeway Point after celebrating Ah Meng's birthday with the gang. We had a simple dinner at Ichiban Sushi... The rest were waiting for me even though I went straight after work at 7pm so only reached at 7.40pm.

We three girls had the same Chicken Cheese something set meal. $14.90 includes chawamushi, miso soup, soft shell crab, two slices of watermelon which filled our entire stomachs and right up to our chests lor. Serious leh haha. Plus charges etc ~ $17 so quite worth it.

We walked around a little after that; Ming Gang bought Mochi at 6 for $11 and I bought a top coat nail polish together with Qiaofen's purchases using her member's discount at The Face Shop. $2.20 yea!

Desserts was at Gelare. Waffle + 1 scoop of cookies & cream + 1 scoop of macademia nuts. Nice~ totally agree that Gelare's ice cream is the best. We only started taking some pictures at Gelare...

Qiaofen was complaining why the Mochi so hard... well because Ming Gang didn't look at the "instructions" lor. Haha... So while waiting for our waffle, they were reading 我报.
