The simple cards I made for Xiuling and Jingxi. Well, I only did them yeaterday afternoon, after coming home from meeting the finanical advisor Jingxi referred to me. Luckily I had enough time and the designs were easy and similar so no time wasted.

Nothing to do at home. So went out with parents to dad's biz friend's new (void deck) shop opening. Female boss. Really know how to spend lavishly; even had red carpet placed on the floor outside the shop, had those big air-con fans blowing and even 2-3 waiters serving/clearing dishes. Food was a little on the salty side, but the yam paste was good.
After that we went to Loyang Da Bo Gong cos we were already in the east.
God of Fortune. Huat ah!! Me and mummy with our 生肖.
Very boliao so took pics... lazy to stand and read there. Dad 属狗, Mum & Marcus 属猪 , Joseph 属蛇, Me 属牛, Fu & others 属虎.
正月初六 Fri
Went 二姑姑's house for dinner around 8pm. Quite late cos have to wait for the students who still have to go school to go home first and my 大小姑姑 to close their shops too. As a result we stayed till almost 12 midnight then left her house.
Cousins were saying they want to go Kukup next next week or what to 放爆竹, to stay at the chalet there. Say until I really tempted to go liao cos long long time didn't go there with them already. Think the last time I went I was still in upper pri or lower sec?
正月初七 Sat
Tuition in the morning cos postponed from the previous night. After that dad picked me up cos he was nearby and dropped me off at Yew Tee cos mum needed to buy lunch back for bros. While I met dear for lunch at LotOne. Simple food court meal, but nice to hang out :)
Lucky I met him so he helped me with one math question I couldn't solve and was gonna go home think through. Then we part ways to go home nap. Haha ya lor piggy hor, after lunch nap. But I was sleepy already leh. He also had to get some sleep before reporting to the chingay in the evening.
At night, visited 小姑姑 at her house at Pasir Ris and played with cuzzies. Haha, love them silly la... the three girls ah. Plus me, my bros three total 6 of us super lame crazy one kept laughing at everything =P
Cuzzie love ~ looking forward to their March holidays so we can have movies and stayover!
正月初八 Sun
Visited Olivia's house to pai nian and we stayed all the way from late morning till 6pm leh. Cos no other house to visit and no other thing we wanna do and so we slacked at her house lor. Think her mum probably expected that haha cos we stayed very very long on new year's day too.
My camera hor lousy lousy liao but nvm still managed to take pics even if the quality didn't came out well cos the len shutter speed like slowing down liao... anyway we lo hai-ed~!!

年初一 情人节
This year's lunar new year coincidentally was also western Valentine's day. It's a rare occasion which will only occur again in another 38 years' time. Not sure whether that means this year will be a good year in terms of lovey dovey romance things but I suppose we should all love one another :)
Usually we would go visit temples to pray on this day but this year my father didn't bring all of us go and he went alone instead. Not sure why but maybe he didn't want to wait for each of us... cos my bros are really slow in preparing to go out one, even slower than my mum and I. Or perhaps he woke early so he went early lor.
Spent the entire afternoon at home becos we only visited my big uncle's house in the evening for dinner. Cos we would always wait for my three 姑姑 to finish visiting their other side of the family then gather together mah. This year there is a new member in the Koh family - my cousin's baby girl, Elle who is already eight months old and so fun to play with. Most of us girls were flocking around her like butterflies to flowers :) she doesn't cry one leh and allows everyone to carry her. But she has style too cos she doesn't take anything from anyone except her parents even though it could be her own stuffs.
Won little bit from the last round of gambling of my turn to be banker with a double ace. But it was playing with the young ones so not bad got win $13 odd.
年初二
Visited mama's side of the family at my 二舅's house. We always visit my second uncle's house and not my big uncle's house becos my grandpa used to stay with the former except for 1 or 2 years before they sent him to the hospice. And especially after some issues concerning my grandpa's inheritance, my big uncle did some shady things with his eldest son... none of the other relatives hold him in respect any more. At one point, it blew so big they almost wanted to sue him cos they have legal papers but my second uncle decided not to over family ties.
Anyway so it was a small gathering lor cos my mama is the youngest and so all my aunts their children mostly married liao so not many people left who would come to bai nian together cos they also think they old liao ba. I wonder will I grow old one day (before I get married) until I too also won't join parents to bai nian? Hmmm I don't know... maybe to my mum's side bah. But I think I'm close to my dad's side so there won't be such a day. Next time when I get married, I will want to visit my relatives too :)
At night, visited my 大姑姑's house and had dinner there. As usual, my 姑姑 and my dad likes to host here and there one so we always visit each other's houses. My usual cny routine ^^
年初三
Visited Fu's house this morning. There's XL, Fred, Jh, Collin and Jj. I told Xiuling I would be going on my own if I can make it cos firstly, I rarely go his house so I wanna be a bit extra haha. Secondly, I wanna see how long I would take to reach his house on my own. His parents steamed buns for us too. I guess I'm also not so "scared" of his parents liao ba... haha hor Fu? Don't try to intimidate me liao la....
Then we took cab to Fred's house cos it's more time-saving than to walk and take train. Olivia and Wilson joined us there. Fred's parents bought donuts and we all got to eat breakfast x2 again... parents are really considerate right? All depends on how we see it, we may think they are naggy and troublesome but all they want is for us to eat well and be happy haha ok very crap don't know why I getting so nag =p
After that they packed lunch to my house and hurriedly eat till the lion dance started around 2.15pm. Now I know the lion dance troop my dad invited was 黄老祖师慈忠会. Anyway my three 姑姑 came over as well haha, told you we very close one la... but I know the families of the 姑姑 closer cos they three sisters mah and my dad is afterall a male? Geez, so it's natural they keep in closer contact than with the brother? Haha.
My Lumix hor is really getting on with age... don't know why it hang when I was taking video of the lion dance so I took out the battery out of anixety and so lost two of the video clips cos didn't get to store yet. Haiz, why got such thing as "writing speed is too fast for SD card" such thing leh? Luckily still have one last video clip left. And managed to take some pics...
I decided not to join them to Jh's house although I could have done so. I don't know, maybe I think that being with family during cny is worth more than anything else even though I have and will still be seeing them during these 15 days of cny. My 姑姑 were asking for my bf but oh well... I also wanted dear to stay at my house with me ah. But I shouldn't be selfish and since Jh also visited his house, he should go to Jh's house as a "return" too. Moreover, they came together as a group of friends so it's also weird and ilogical for him to not go with them hor.
