gera bought stuffs back from hongkong for us. i like my little twin stars cutie pouch and towel set. hehe.. and she likes the bag and stuffs we got for her. then coz i forgot to bring the card for gera, so the 3 of us came over to my house after that and chit chatted. - girls' talk, guys keep out - haha... what else can we talk about, boys and gossips and SEX. lol... can't believe i'm blogging this. anwyay, we're all grown up mah. *evil grin*

haha stupid not? never mind i don't care. typed le not gonna delete them. oh no, my hard boiled eggs are waiting for me to go peel them. haha! i'm planning to go school to study today. and yes, it's not supposed to be like this but no choice, me and him, we need to get down to work. considering there's only few more days left of this recess week.
and so we went to watch movie yesterday. i've been doing things i haven't done so in months... and the first of its kind since the start of this year. my first ktv on monday, and my first movie(not counting the midnight 1st jan movie) yesterday.
watched savage grace. it's too artistic for Fu to fully understand, but i'm not gonna just watch and forget. i'm just not the kind. moreover, it's adapted from a real life story.. so it sets me thinking. but to nowhere. anyway, the movie is r21. so that makes it my first rated movie. lalala~ it's rated mature content, not sex scenes or what la. though got show la, but can't see any action. a few scencs can see explicitly the parts and hair la... lol but got quite a lot of scenes on butts leh...
okok, not gonna talk about this lest i can't eat my eggs liao. oops.
one last note, in case i'm not gonna blog anytime soon... i'm gonna rebond my hair this friday. the hair is weighing me down, especially with the workload lately. grrr. and i need a change over also la, coz now i look like some mad woman lor.
yup, i'm gonna reply winter's email now. *wink* i wanna squeeze out time to meet u... if can. then shall happily peel the eggies to eat.

I just realised it's been 3 weeks since my last entry. Means to say Fu has been back from Taiwan for 3 weeks. And for this entire week, he's almost m.i.a. coz of the orientation camp. I thus arrive at this conclusion: my days passed in a blink at ilog.
2 more weeks... technically speaking, it should be 8 more days. And i'll need to bid farewell to ilog and the nice peeps here and go back to my lecture notes. Well, "here" coz i'm blogging while at work. Good huh?
Time to recall what happened in my life for the last couple of weeks...
I know i'm supposed to print screen the rest of the ecards Fu sent during his trip, or rather before he went for the trip. But no time la. Maybe do that after this post.
That first week of the month, i was just beginning to experience the working life; to feel tired after work everyday. Coz the week earlier i had to work OT for thursday and friday. Tuition with Meiyi resumed in that first week and her father wanted thrice a week from then coz of PSLE. I'm fine with the arrangement except i had to change the tuition timing for this month and that i hope it's not gonna affect my new timetable due to be confirmed soon.
Went out with uni friends for steamboat dinner at Bugis on 3rd. It's like a last gathering before those who needed to fly, fly. Will miss chatting with Violet, WQ's corny remarks and CS's steadiness. Aiya, will miss the 'group B' lor.
Weekends went by, not without memories. 07-07-07. Oli came by on friday night to pick me up for supper while i was trying to use every minute to nap. Lol. Was happy to see xl & oli. Maybe i didn't show it coz i couldn't help but feel grouchy the whole time, not enough slp lor. Had some discussion over some issues with them. So long since i've last touched on those issues with anyone else. It's usually only them now coz gera and huixin are like.. forever far. And Qiaofen is happily 'married' now.
Talking about Qiaofen, yup met up with the bp gang on the 10th to celebrate Ming Gang's birthday. Had dinner at Sun with Moon jap restaurant at Wheelock Place. Not bad, but serving size too petite le. Not full and we had to find second round at NYDC. Everyone's getting on well and we're still quite the same from the old sec sch days. Lame jokes from KT, lame comments from MG, followed by scornful words by QF. =D my friends from secondary. Looks like i've retired though, i'm no longer AP but think my position as big sis will stay ba. Hmm
I've had to face the job alone after the first week coz Christidia moved on to a new job le. That week was crazy, vaguely remember i had to rush lotsa things and people. I had to rush customer for contact details, rush sales rep for training dates, rush HQ for new version training materials, rush supplier. Shacks! And the thing is when you are new, you tend to have more questions to ask, but no one seems to note your questions. Nevermind... now i know.
Luckily for me, last week all my things fell into place. I managed to send the new version to supplier in time, and she managed to deliver in time, and i then could courier the training materials to thailand and india in time. Superb? Yes. Lol.. And there was training at the office last week, but i'm already familiar with the work so it's just piece of cake. This time i remembered to check the projector before training, coz the last time i forgot, half an hour was wasted on figuring how to switch it on. This time, i merely let it standby haha...
Something i like about this workplace is the people. Everyday we'll go out for lunch, there're quite a few drivers. We go to ABC, Redhill market, Tiong Bahru, Holland v, Bt Timah etc. So cool lor. And last friday we went to eat Teochew porridge at Bt Timah. The mango lassi from the indian/muslim store very nice. But i think $3 is a tad too expensive.
Come to this week, i'm a little bored. But still happy. Coz next week, the permanent replacement for this position will be coming on board. It's time for me to hand over the workload. Hee~ so i've done all those that need to be done, and 'storing' those that i can store to let her hands-on next tuesday when she comes. I foresee that she'll have a little hard time next month coz there are some upcoming trainings, both local and on-site. So hope i'll be a good mentor haha and pass all my knowledge to her. Heh..
17-07-07. Nice set of numbers too. Keng Pang, Stella & Derek celebrated their birthdays~ along with july babies Carol & Irene.
Yesterday, the iloggers went to lunch at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant @ VivoCity. It's a farewell lunch for Keng Pang and Jiang Xiang. Many iloggers have left, are leaving this place. Partly because the economy is kinda optimistic now, of coz there are other reasons not nice to say la. Like to do with the management level; in terms of their vitamin M. Haha i didn't say..
Coming Monday, will be meeting Christidia, along with Wanling for dinner at clementi. I've this thought - go camp at oli's house after that for a night. Lol. But don't think feasible coz scared her gor. And sc11 will be meeting up for dinner on Wednesday in lieu of Fu's birthday @ somewhere not confirmed. I'll take leave on the 26th to go out with him...
Yup his birthday. I'm still preparing his presents. Hope to rush out by thurdays...

The last two papers weren't that tough, so right now I'm only hoping I won't need to dapao MS2001 and/or MS2004. Wishing the same for Avril, who kept saying she'll see the lecturer the next semester after almost every paper. The rest, I reckon they will do well enough to move on thus I shan't lement on this issue further.
Today is little brother's 12th birthday. Regretfully, he fell sick over the last weekend and is still on medication and oh well, the doc gave him 3days mc so... it was really bad. Anyway he didn't go school yesterday so he missed his english paper. Right now he should be in school waiting to take his maths or chineses paper. Poor him. Hope he'll recover soon and not to worry so much about the exams. Health is more impt. When he recover and his exams are over, I'll be bringing him to watch Spiderman 3... initially I promised him to bring him only if did well for exams but nvm that for now =) Jiayou ah bin~
At this point, I wonder if I had been missing out too much on sc11 and bpgang. As some of my friends know by now, I dislike going to the cinemas already. Coz I'm one of those who believe watching movie is the most anti-social social activity. Haha, this catchy phrase I caught last night while watching After Hours. Not to forget, for someone who has many other monetary commitments, I should not involve myself in it. Hence, I'm only bringing Marcus coz I know the joy it'll bring for him... So sc11, I will see you guys for other activities okay.
For bpgang, well, the last time they met for Yixian's birthday I wasn't free. And they've not met since. Qiao Fen had been admitted to NIE and Ming Gang's application to NTU was also approved. He'll be in EEE year 2 two years from now, which is where Yixian is now. Heard Ah Meng is working in some factory now whereas Bong is still happily being his officer. Think Bong is always trying to do courses to gain promotion. Kangtai though, I'm not sure. The last time he told me he was selling Birkinstock yeah... and heard from the others, he's getting more and more vain. Hmm I wonder... but I know he goes for facials la. Haha. Tsuenyung is in K.L. doing his mechanical eng. degree lor. So yar, that's my secondary school buddies.
Huixin and Gera, my dearies are like yin xun quan wu now. Huixin is in NBS taking biz and Gera is in NUS taking Architecture. My friends and I, we are very diverse hor? Yar I also forgot since when did we become so far apart. We used to share the same dreams and thoughts back then... Perhaps now that I can use this tone, it just means that we've all grown to be different. As we are all solemising our 21st birthday this year, how can we not admit we are growing up and enduring more adults' stuffs and that time is forever not enough. Even though we may not be as close now as before, I won't forget those times we weathered. And I'm gonna meet them soon!
Apple~ Ping, she just told me she planning a trip to Sabah lately. So we will only meet up when she returns coz she won't be going back to China during this long vacation. Need to catch up with her too.
For xl who will be going on internship from 28th, wish that you are not always tired and that you can also find things you enjoy and look forward to at times. I still need to pass you some things. For oli who may end up being my roomie but not in the end becoz of my financial abilities, hope that we will still have other opportunities to spend time together. You still haven't reply to my questions in those wrapping papers. The three of us need to meet up soon as well...
The financial aspect I was saying refers to how I'm gonna get monetary support for the next few months. Meiyi's tuition will be temporarily teminated from next week till july. I'm not so sure for the Tans'... the mother is always having problem with punctuality coz of the nature of her job. She is a SOHO but then she gotta meet potential buyers/sellers. By the way, she's a car agent/dealer. Lately she kept delaying start time and changing dates which makes things difficult for me coz of my exams. And just last night, she said the next session which will be on thursday shall be the last, coz their exams will be over and the june holidays are right the corner so her kids will be at their aunt's place. I wonder if I'm reading too much in it, but I think this sounds like I'm being fired. However, I'm not uphappy just a bit sad to leave the kids yar, but I've been thinking of doing so coz the two kids are too straining at any one session.
This only conclusion I've got is that I definitely and desperately need to get a job this vacation in order for me to survive. But it's not like I can work full time also becoz I still have got Korean elective which is scheduled for just 10 days alternating on tuesdays and fridays starting from today. Hee~ but this is undoubtedly something I'm looking forward to...

=)slept about 3 hours... and right now, the others are still sleeping except tudi. haha, don't know why he always the one not sleeping. xiuling, fred, wilson and Fu all 'dao' le... and i didn't even know when oli left.
i wanted to sleep early or at least chat with xl and oli last night one. but then... i had to complete the custom-made jigsaw puzzle by sc11 guys. somemore need to challenge and beat the tudi's timing of 3hrs15mins. haha... i knew i can beat his time de, but i do until 4 sleepy liao. so...
yup, last night's party was nice nice~ don't know what to say, but what i can say is that the memories will definitely gonna be with me till old. it's perhaps the only one time where i can see my friends and my relatives together. ahem other than the red-letter day lah... lol

met up with ping and oli at 4.30pm in lot1 lib, well i was getting the reading materials i need to occupy myself for the rest of the month. we were joined by wilson and since none of us had any solid idea of what to make, we decided upon steamboat. i admit i was afraid that the amount would not be enough because oli was the one in charge of choosing the food. but then we 3 girls thought that there's only 4 of us so it should be alright. haa... but xl was actually planning to join us already and it was only at my block's void deck that wilson said jj was coming did we realise we had 6 mouths.
this was the most budget steamboat i had. ok, let's not count the hot dogs and eggs taken from the house $16+ not for 1 person but 6! and we finished everything and were all full at the end. i think this is also the best in the sense that the amount was just right, coz usually there's alot of leftovers and so we weren't bloated which was a rare thing with steamboat. the secret: buy more vermicelli dong fen 冬粉.
and so we ate from 6.45 to 8pm. then after cleaning up we watched SuperStar and ping left early because she need to get good rest for tomorrow's paper. oli left soon after... and the rest stayed on to watch finish the 9 o'clock show. xl, she ah funny leh, asked my dad not to worry about me for the chalet. haha, thanks for helping me. jeez, but can see that my dad tries not to think negatively and gives me more freedom liao lah. thanks dad.
will be seeing gera and huixin tomorrow. yipee~ looking forward. and i'm kinda sleeepy now, shall go to sleep after this. mum made me drink a small cup of those chinese wine just now coz she said will make me sleep well. know what? dad made me wear socks to sleep yesternight coz he said will sleep well too. i think i'm gonna sleep well of course, coz i've got such loving parents. for now i feel so light... hee dear just msg he's sleeping le. good night everyone...

got home around 10pm after buying some things in lot1. tuition ended early because my tutee rachel is sick. she had a high fever of 40C yesternight, and it hasn't resided today but her mum didn't call to cancel the tuition coz rachel said it's ok. she's got positive attitude there... it's something i like about her. but then it proved to be a wrong decision this time because i sensed she was really uncomfortable as usually she would have the air-con switched on but tonight she complained of being cold when there's no wind blowing in from outside the windows and neither the air-con nor the fan was switched on, furthermore the door was closed. tried to encourage her that it's just one more hour, 30 more minutes... until i can bear no more to see her so lethargic compared to her usual chatty self. so, i called it a day about 20 minutes earlier. well, what to expect since she only had porridge and cereal, gruel stuffs make u weak even though it's good for the sick. such an irony
her younger sis, valencia will be having her first session with me on the next lesson as well. wonder how i'm gonna handle two girls... haha but i like them lah. and anyway i think it should be one after the other, if not the both of them sure can flood me with their squabbles. by the way, because rachel improved her math from band3 to band2, so i got her something: nothing fanciful, just a sticker album and a carebears stickers. but i know she will like it. haha i make it sound like i'm so good at buying gifts...
hee~ guess what... i've just bought one of the items for the Christmas exchange parcel i'm preparing. i think i still have two other items to get to complete the parcel. hope i will make this parcel a better gift than last year's stuff toys which junjie received.
yup i went into mini toons just now too. but regretfully, i didn't see any octopus toy that gera mentioned leh. wonder if it's already selling coz gera only said she saw in the mini toons tv advertisment. and the tentative plan was tentative indeed, we are not going vivocity on friday already. huixin gotta register her subjects on fri, and i don't remember whether she said it's to start at 2pm or end at 2pm. but either way, we've decided to settle it nearer to us; coffee bean westmall.
one more thing, oli and ping will be coming over to my house tomorrow! oli said not to be surprised to see who else will turn up, that's because she's still asking some guys who may be free. actually we're supposed to meet somewhere but then it seemed that my house is more attractive. haha no lah, it's because we're meeting in the late afternoon so cannot go k, ping lazy to shop, no movie that all wanna watch, cannot go eat also. thus, i suggested my house and oli suggested baking cake and i, cookies. lol, i remember the first cake i baked, it was too oily and buttery even though it was supposed to be a chocolate cake because i put too much butter. i sincercely pray that tomorrow will not turn out to be a disaster.. but then, disaster or not, i'm sure we'll have fun.

this holis... time to meet old friends: friends i don't get to see often but we both know we are still 'golden friends'. haha those primary school and lower secondary school days of writing autograph books.
will be meeting gera and huixin on friday at vivocity. tentative plan: lunch at republic food court then walk around... 3 girls pretty much nothing to do except talking, eating or shopping. i must remember to bring gera's birthday pressie. almost 3 months past her birthday... shows just how long i haven't seen her. and dearie gera is flying all the way to italy for holidays on monday. envy! shall ask for pressie hehe...
ah ping is flying back to 厦门 on 12th, next tuesday. this means i gotta find a way to include her in my schedule this week. otherwise, i fear it'll be harder to meet when the new sem starts, as always. xl has a packed schedule, so that leaves oli and me.
feeling good, coz i washed the toilet with little bro in the afternoon haha... it's totally clean and speckless now. and i wiped the inside of my wardrobe off those yellowish spots; i think it's those you find on wooden furnitures if not cleaned regularly. other than meeting friends, there are several other things i wanna do this dec. will come up with a list later or tomorrow.

The monday that just past by, saw the 45th month since via and i officially became friends. =) How in the world did we two started to keep track of it, i couldn't remember. Stupid via can actually take out the calculator to see if i had counted wrongly. *bish* her.... of course i didn't make any mistake. IDIOT... by the way, idiot^7 is her nick, mine is idiot^6 - the numbers are our favourite ones. '3.75years' sounds younger?
Time just don't spare anyone, isn't it. In a couple more months, i'm gonna hit 21 already. Still remember at age15, i was looking forward to age18. And now, those two are like some ages ago already.... With all the free time i have lately, i've been thinking that, maybe i've been neglecting some of the closest people to me.
Firstly, those we were with me during my adolesence period; gera, huixin, and the GANG. Ever since we graduated from bp, we've more or less lost touch coz we've all gone different ways - except for the guys that were with me in pj. Miss ya all lots.... esp gera - we'll be entering the 10th year of friendship next year ;) And as for sc11, sorry guys. I had been quite a letdown in the previous few months - not showing up for outings and appeared self-outcasted. Take it as a rebellious stage i'm going through ya? I was just learning to adjust to the changes in my life. I think i have lots to learn from xl. Know why? Because she's already been through what i did this year, last year.
